Death of DRM?
There seems to be a
lot of talk about the
“death of DRM” or
digital rights. You
know, that technology
that only lets you play
songs bought from
certain stores on
certain devices? Over
the past couple of
weeks, technology
sites are writing
articles talking about
the possible removal
of digital rights
management software
and how the major
record labels are
looking at selling non-
DRMed music tracks.
The reason for this
line of thinking, has a
lot to do with an
essay written by
Apple’s own Steve
Jobs. Continue reading
Deep Linking Equals Infringement?
A couple of weeks ago, a Texas court ruled that deep linking was illegal. Deep linking is nothing more than linking to content, the very basis of the internet as we know it. The problem stems from the fact that … Continue reading

Are We Ready for Female President
As Republican, I recognize that this announcement could eventually lead to something ground breaking. However, as a Republican, I have severe issues with the Clinton family. I believe that a woman could be president, I believe that a woman could even be a successful president. We have female representatives and female senators, so why not a female president? PayPerPost Debate
I think that somewhere along the line, the blogsphere as a whole decided that to be paid to post about something was unclean and tainted those that did it. Am I the only one that sees being paid to post about certain things as being okay? I mean lets look at PayPerPost’s website, right under the “Bloggers” image, is a line that says “Disclosure Required” as well as the statement “…earn cash for providing your opinion…” which tells me that right off the bat nothing wrong is occurring here.

Security Now?
Security and privacy go hand in hand. Keeping your self secure in what you do on the internet will help you keep some level of privacy. Also remaining private on the internet will help you stay that much more secure when surfing the internet. So I would like to challenge everyone to make 2007 the year you become more secure online. Start using a password safe, get your friends to start encrypting emails to and from you, and start using something like onion routing to stay anonymous when surfing online.
You are only secure as you want to be.

Christian Rock Radio Stations
Why is it that
Christian rock has a
hard time finding a
home on radio? In my
years of listening to
and enjoying Christian
rock music, I have
found that Christian
rock radio stations
are few and far
between. They are
incredibly hard to find
and when you do find
them they are usually
limited to their song
selection thus
rendering them
useless for finding
new music to listen to.
The contemporary
Christian music
station here in
Houston, Texas
attempted to start a
Christian Rock station
a little less than a
decade ago. They
were starting it out
small as an internet
only option, but
promoted the heck
out of it on their main
over the air station.
But unfortunately it
never got off the
ground beyond the
streaming internet
station. Continue reading →
