From the website: “After over 10 months of development, TagLib# 2.0 is officially out. This release is API and ABI stable and ready for use in production systems and inclusion in Linux distributions.” TagLib-Sharp is a great tool for anyone who writes programs for editing media metadata tags.
I have used TagLib-Sharp for some of my Mp3 organization programs that I personally use. It’s extremely simple and is probably the best library I have used for the job of reading and editing ID3 tags. This new version apparently handles tags inside MPEG4-video and AVI files. Pretty cool stuff.
