This week, we have got some hot new albums coming out. Lets dive right in…
1) Afterwords by Collective Soul – If Youth was a sign of things to come, then bring it on. Collective Soul seems to continue their return to their rock with a pop tinge style that made them famous over 10 years ago. And if they keep up this rate of releases, I’ll be a happy camper.
2) Lifeline by Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals – Ben Harper releasing an album with the Innocent Criminals is pretty close to being on par with Bruce Springsteen releasing an album with the E Street Band, but it seems to happen more frequently. People like Ben Harper are a rare commodity in music today. I am totally all for someone releasing albums they want with a mixture of any styles they want (ie Ian Moore).
3) “Radio Nowhere” (Single) by Bruce Springsteen – I grew up listening to Bruce Springsteen. He was a favorite of my father’s and as I grew up I started to understand why. The man is poetic, and that is probably an understatement. For one week only, you can get a free track off of Springsteen’s upcoming album with the E Street Band, Magic. Bruce Springsteen’s music spans generations, so everyone should try out the free track, if for no other reason than it is free.
All albums and tracks are available on iTunes for purchase. See you next week.
