Microsoft has released their Robotics Studio to the public. This is pretty cool. If you have supported hardware (some Lego Mindstorm products or a Roomba, amoung others) you can program them in Visual Basic, C# or even IronPython (a CLR version of Python).
I think this is pretty cool just because robots have always interested me. I personally do not currently own any Lego Mindstorm products but think they are interesting as well. Now with the ability to program them in C# (my language of choice), I might just go and pick something up just to see what I can do with it.
I wonder how long until someone codes a robot to follow the three laws.
