Del.icio.us "for" Tags RSS Feeds

I just discovered something really cool on del.icio.us, a social bookmarking website.

One of the things you can do with del.icio.us is tag bookmarks “for” other people in your network. So if you found something that you think I might like you would tag it with “for:mkoby” and I would see it on my del.icio.us account. Well I was wondering if there was a way to have those “for” links come to me instead of me going to the del.icio.us website and looking at them. Behold I found a solution. If you have a del.icio.us account here’s how you would do it.

1) Login to your del.icio.us account
2) Goto http://del.icio.us/for/%5Busername%5D replacing [username] with your username.
3) At the bottom of this page is a RSS icon (see image).

4) Add that RSS link to your favorite RSS reader and BAM. You have your “for” feeds coming to you (see image, click for larger image).

While I am sure others have already figured this out, this is something new to me so I thought I would share it with others. Pretty nifty.

Anyone have any tips on how to best use del.icio.us to help promote one’s websites? I have recently signed up, added a few friends, and am trying to
add interesting, useful sites before I add my own (which I’ll do when I’m finished with my first set of tutorials). My sense is that it may be wise to
make some of the more “popular” del.icio.us members my friends, but for now I’ve stuck solely to people who are related to my industry. What do other
people think? Any good tips out there?
    All the best,
